The calligraphy and the society

Convinced that the calligraphy is an art of artistic expression of different measurements, individual on the one hand and collective loaded of social role an original experience has been achieved on the other hand, in Grenoble, of 13 to 26 March, 2004, during the week against racism to Grenoble International, where several calligraphers, in particular Jean-Marc Collot, calligrapher and professor of Latin calligraphy, answered my demand quickly and exposed with me their works, so a garden of calligraphies of different origins; Arabic, Latin, Chinese and Japanese, marvelled the grenoblian public during two weeks.

Following the success of this original experience that confirmed our conviction, more of about ten calligraphers exposed collectively to The Source, of the 3 to 28 May, 2004, once again the public greeted this initiative and came numerous to encourage us and to adhere to this concept of collective calligraphy.

The success, again present, encouraged us to achieve a new time this experience in the Charmettes (in Charterhouse), where several grenoblian calligraphers of different origins exposed their works during three weeks, of the 5 to 26 June, 2004.
